9th Öresund Workshop on Radiotherapy - October 5-6, 2022

OWbridge

Welcome to the 9th Öresund Workshop on Radiotherapy, October 5-6, 2022

The annual Öresund Workshop on Radiotherapy is open for professionals and researchers at the radiotherapy-related departments in Gothenburg, Lund, Rigshospitalet and Herlev.

The concept of the meeting is based on many presentations from the participants, as well as interactive sessions. It is an excellent opportunity to keep up with what is going on in radiotherapy research in the participating hospitals and universities, and to make new connections with researchers in the region.

We are happy that Jeppe Friborg has accepted our invitation to give his leadership perspective on the radiotherapy related research at Righshospitalet.

More information about previous meetings can be found here.

Call for abstracts

At the 9th Øresund workshop on Radiotherapy we will have a special focus on research methods. For that reason we also encourage submission of abstracts on projects in their early phase. This can be abstracts on projects that are in the planning stage or projects that has already started, but where the final data have not yet been collected or analyzed. In the abstract the problem statement and/or hypothesis needs to be stated, and also at least some idea on the material and methods. Results and discussion is only needed to the extent the authors have anything ready at the time of submission.

More “standard” abstracts are of course also welcome!

For all abstracts:

  • Maximum 300 words
  • Each abstract, including figures/tables, must fit on one page, submitted as a pdf-file
  • Submission deadline is on August 31, 2022

We are looking forward to seeing you in Helsingborg!

Welcome!

Anna Bäck (Sahlgrenska)
Katrin Håkansson (Rigshospitalet)
