SIMIND Monte Carlo program
The Monte Carlo simulation code, SIMIND, describes a standard clinical SPECT camera and can easily be modified for almost any type of calculation or measurement encountered in SPECT imaging.
The entire code is written in FORTRAN and includes versions that are fully operational on Linux systems (x86), Mac systems running MacOS, and on Windows (x86). The majority of the main code structure is similar for all of the operating systems; but, in cases where the operating system becomes unique, additional information on the code as it pertains to the specific system is provided.
News
- Access to the program is available on this site and simind.blogg.lu.se. However, the blogg site will close in a few months. I haven't been active as a blogger, so I'll use this site as the home for SIMIND in the future. This site is currently under develoment so things can change here.
Published papers where SIMIND have been a contributor
I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me identify papers where SIMIND has been a contributor to the research. I've already compiled a list of those I've found in PubMed, but I may have missed some articles from this source or papers that were published before the database was created. If you come across any articles that I've missed, please provide me with the citation information. I'm also interested in doctoral theses, as I plan to create a similar list for those as well.
